Finally they are HERE!!
Many prototypes later we are finally able to offer the factory replacement HD Cross Braces
These bolt right into your Power Wagon factory cross bar locations using the factory hardware making this a simple unbolt and bolt up replacement. All factory hardware can be reused
Made out of 3/16” tubing these cross bars are almost 30% thicker than factory and much stronger
We have done many bend tests and here is what we found.
Testing done with 30” base mounting
Factory front bar without the driveshaft clearance yield - 5m Tons appx 11,000lbs
Factory Rear bar with driveshaft clearance bends - 3.5m Tons appx 7,700lbs
New HD Front Bar without clearance - 8.5m Tons appx 18,000lbs
New Rear Bar with driveshaft clearance notch - 7m Tons appx 15,000lbs
As you can see there is a significant increase in strength with the new cross members.
The Rear crossmember for the 2010+ trucks has slightly more clearance than the factory with gussets providing additional strength to the bar.
As an option the rear Crossbar can be ordered with a 3” Offset for those with increased rear suspension droop such as Thuren overland or King shock packages. This offset maintains the Fuel Tank Skid but does not work with the 3 factory tube bars on the passenger side. This does work with our 3 bar skid replacement and no modification is needed to make it work.
Bolt in replacement for Power Wagon trucks.
Does not fit Diesel Trucks with factory exhaust but can be fitted.
Non Power Wagon trucks need additional hardware not available at this time.
